Todd Bloomstine was born
and raised in Sacramento and attended California State University,
Sacramento
where
he received a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Government. During
his last year at CSUS, Mr. Bloomstine accepted a legislative aide
position in the Assembly, working full time in the California
Legislature while attending school in the evenings.
Mr. Bloomstine was promoted to Legislative Director in 1999 for a Los Angeles-area Senator. In this capacity, he was responsible for crafting the Senator's legislative bill package, recommending votes, and meeting with other public officials, staff and community leaders.
In 2001 Mr. Bloomstine left the California Legislature and opened Bloomstine & Bloomstine with his wife Michelle.
Mr. Bloomstine enjoys traveling with his family and a good science fiction book. He is also an aspiring duck hunter and occasional fisherman.
Michelle Bloomstine was born in Tulare, California and graduated from California State University, Sacramento.
Upon moving to Sacramento in 1997, Mrs. Bloomstine began working in the Capitol for a Tulare-area Assemblyman in his Capitol Office. She was responsible for maintaining the Assemblyman's schedule and assisted with staff on various legislative issues.
In 1999, Mrs. Bloomstine changed jobs and accepted a position with then Insurance Commissioner Chuck Quackenbush's campaign office.
In 2001 Mrs. Bloomstine opened Bloomstine & Bloomstine with her husband, Todd.
Mrs. Bloomstine is very active in her community. She is a member of the Elk Grove Rotary and and assists with fundraising efforts for the Margaret Okari Children's Foundation.
